As one of the major water treatment chemicals suppliers, our chlor-alkali range also has many uses in water treatment. Poly Aluminium chloride is used to remove anionic colloidal impurities and settling of suspended materials while refining drinking water, sewage, and industrial effluents. It is also used as a coagulant that enhances the clarity of treated water. Calcium Hypochlorite is used to destroy tiny particles and microorganisms in potable water, effluents, and other surfaces. VYTALPOOL-18 is exclusively used to erase tiny, little impurities from swimming pool water. In addition, our Aqua Armor products are used in monitoring and regulation of BOD, i.e. Biological Oxygen Demand concentration in pond water, where shrimps are harvested.
Our chlorinated paraffins are used while making wires as they provide the desired hardness, elongation, tensile strength, and cell resistance. Our high-molecular weight secondary plasticizers possess flame retardant properties, resulting from a high amount of chlorine content. In addition, chlorinated paraffins with low viscosity and medium molecular weight are used for opaque or transparent tubing, footwear, and PVC compounds, and also for non-PVC coating applications, like varnishes and paints. Not only that, but we also offer extreme pressure additives for varied lubricants that protect metal parts or alloy pieces from damage, resulting from exposure to high pressure.
Phosphoric acid is widely used for degumming in the edible oil refining process, thereby separating the proteins, phospholipids, and gums from it. Altura Pro Cal+ is used in pasteurized skim milk to coagulate curds, enhance firmness, and retrieve calcium that’s lost while heating, as well as in beer, soda, and breweries to fulfil mineral deficiencies in the brewing process, to maintain uniformity in the taste. In addition, our Food-grade Phosphoric acid is primarily used to enhance the texture and colour of jaggery as it removes redundant sediments from sugarcane juice.
As a high-end drilling mud additive, Calcium Chloride is widely used in the oil and gas industry, while drilling mud to cool and lubricate the drilling bit. Phosphoric acid is used in the production of water softeners that eradicate magnesium and calcium ions from hard water. Aluminium Chloride Anhydrous is used as a catalyst in the Friedel-Craft reaction as well as in the making of pharmaceuticals, perfumes, and styrene. In addition, our three major chlor-alkali products, namely poly aluminium chloride, bleaching powder, and calcium chloride are used in the paper industry for paper sizing, bleaching, and the Color Lock Technology respectively.
So, as you can see, our Chlor-Alkali products have a diverse range of applications across various industries, which is the reason that we are considered a leading player in the chlor-alkali industry, not only on a domestic level, but also on a global level.
