This follows the merger, during 2005, of the four chemicals businesses of the Aditya Birla Group in Thailand — Thai Epoxy and Allied Products Company Limited, Thai Sulphites and Chemicals Company Limited and Thai Polyphosphate and Chemicals Company Limited into Thai Organic Chemicals Company Limited. Thai Peroxide Company Limited continues as a separate company.

The restructuring has given us an opportunity to multiply the strengths of the four units having diversified capabilities in process technology and product application, yet serving common industry sectors. The move will help us serve our customers better through a wider knowledge and technology base, synergistic basket of products and seamless service.
